다음의 안내문을 참고하시고 2004년에 신청하실 선생님은 구비서류를 준비하여 주임교수님을 통해서 학회사무국으로 5월 3일(월)까지 제출해 주시기 바랍니다.

FIGO/ESRF Fellowship

The FIGO/ESRF Fellowship is an annual post-doctorate fellowship donated by the Ernst Schering Research Foundation intended to stimulate and encourage post-graduate research by junior obstetricians and gynecologists from developing countries in a centre of excellence in the field of gynaecologic oncology.

To be eligible for the FIGO/ESRF Fellowship, applicants must be:

35 years old or younger
a resident of a developing country
able to communicate fluently in English and/or the language of the host institution
the holder of a postgraduate degree in obstetrics and gynecology
the holder of an academic post in a teaching institution
have the endorsement of their national society of obstetrics and gynecology.
In 2003, the focus of the fellowship will be on gynaecologic oncology rather than family planning or reproductive health, as in previous years.

The 2002 award was made to Dr Hassan-Mohand Mostafa Taha Morsi from Cairo in Egypt to allow him to undertake a study of the Maternal Cerebral Circulation in severe pre-eclampsia and eclampsia using Doppler ultrasound.
